David R. Murrell
CFO
Dave started in the Insurance business in 1982 with American
Family Insurance in Marion, Indiana.
After a few short years he became a district manager in Fort Wayne and the
surrounding area. He returned home to
Marion to run a Bank owned Agency in 1988.
In 1991 he bought into a local agency and by 1996 had bought out all of
the remaining partners and changed the name to Murrell & Associates. In 2004 he moved to Florida and began working
for SJR Insurance. In 2011 Dave
purchased SJR Insurance agency. Dave’s
main focus is now on managing the office and handling financial side of the business.
Justin Murrell
President/ Commercial Lines
Justin started in the Insurance business in 1997 with Dave at Murrell & Associates in Marion Indiana and became president of Murrell & Associates when Dave moved to Florida in 2004. Two years later, Justin and his wife Wendy followed the family to Florida. In 2012, after working with the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce and completing his degree in History and Political Science, he found he missed the insurance business and rejoined Dave at SJR Insurance.
